(Tentative name) Toward the formulation of Niseko Town architectural guidelines

Niseko Town has established various rules based on the Niseko Town Basic Ordinance for Town Development, which serves as the town development constitution, in order to maintain valuable local resources such as the natural environment, living environment, and rural landscape into the future.
In order to maintain the beautiful scenery in the future, the "Niseko Town Landscape Ordinance" was enacted in 2004. Since then, whenever there is a plan for a large-scale construction or development, we have created a landscape while deepening mutual understanding between the business operator and the people of the area through briefing sessions for residents.
In 2009, we designated quasi-city planning areas, landscape districts, and restricted areas for specific uses to create better landscapes.

At the first review committee meeting, in addition to confirming the status of efforts related to the formulation of the guidelines so far, the purpose of the formulation of the guidelines, basic policy, composition, operational guidelines, etc. were discussed.
