Niseko Town Environmental Basic Plan

Our town has nurtured the local culture as the center of the agriculture and tourism in response to the grace of the natural environment, in order to achieve sustainable development for the future, protect and nurture the natural environment, which is the source of all "Niseko Town environment Basic Plan ”. This plan focuses on the fact that local industries and lifestyles have been supported by the water cycle, especially rivers and groundwater, in the natural environment, and focuses on the conservation of the water cycle (aquatic environment). The main purpose is to protect and nurture the culture.

It is a plan for the next 12 years to protect and nurture the environment of Niseko Town with the overall goal of “Water Environment Town Niseko”, taking over the principles of the First Environmental Basic Plan.
