★B.B. came to our rice cake making party!
B.B., the mascot of the Nippon Ham Fighters, visited us at the rice cake pounding event (December 12th). B.B. is serving as a support ambassador for Niseko Town this year, and as part of his activities, he participated in the rice cake pounding event at Yoji Centre.
The children were delighted when B.B. appeared. He participated in the pounding of rice cakes, cheered on the children, and was very active here and there. In between, he played a New Year's song on the piano, which he is good at, and the children sang along in unison. After the pounding of rice cakes, he took photos of each class and gave each child a hug.
With B.B.'s participation, this year's rice cake pounding party was a great success, and delicious rice cakes were made.

★The presentation was full of emotion!!
This year's recital was held on Saturday, December 6th. The Sheep group kicked off with lively singing. The play "Munch, Munch, Half" had the audience in stitches as the cake got smaller and smaller, and the finale was a lively dance. The Fox group followed, and it was their first recital, full of cuteness. The Bear group closed the show. As you'd expect from an older class, they sang loudly and played instruments beautifully. Then, in the play "The Great Adventure of Pop and Tap," each child performed with confidence, clearly demonstrating the results of their practice. At the end, everyone expressed their gratitude to their parents who came to watch, and the recital came to a close in a warm atmosphere. It was a wonderful day where we could see the children's growth.

★A Sports Day Full of Smiles and Shining Kids!
This year's Sports Day was held on Saturday, September 6th, under clear autumn skies. The opening act was "Yocchore 2025" by the older children in the Kuma group. The excitement was fueled by lively voices and dancing, and the venue was filled with smiles as the children's cuteness and hard work were met with loud cheers and applause, including a "running race" for all the children, individual and group events for each class, a parent-child event, a "rice cracker eating contest" for elementary school students, and a "Ready, set, go!" for preschoolers. The traditional "obstacle relay" for the older children drew cheers of amazement and excitement as they climbed over difficult vaulting boxes and wooden boards.
It was a day where each and every child shone brightly.

★Enjoy the hot summer!
As record-breaking heatwaves continue across the country, children are having fun splashing around in water, thinking up ways to beat the heat, and enjoying a variety of summer activities and events. At the recent fireworks display, 17 children from the Bear group were able to shout out the opening words. They were delighted to have their picture taken with BB. They are enjoying the hot summer in good health, taking care to avoid heatstroke and spending time playing outside.
