There are three categories of certification.

No. 1 certification (standard education time certification) can be certified regardless of the working conditions of parents.

In order to receive No. 2 and No. 3 certification (childcare certification), it is necessary to meet the following "reasons for childcare".
In addition, the childcare usage time is set to "standard childcare time" with an upper limit of 11 hours per day and "shorter childcare time" with an upper limit of 8 hours per day, and is certified based on the situation of parents.

From October 2019, early childhood education and childcare will be free of charge, and childcare fees will be free from April 1st after the age of 3 to before entering elementary school (3 to 5 year olds).
Childcare fees for children aged 0 to 2 are determined based on the amount of income tax levied on the household's residence tax.
In addition, childcare fees are determined twice a year as follows. The deadline for delivery is the 25th of every month (the next day if it is a Saturday, Sunday, or holiday).

Childcare fees may be reduced depending on the taxation status of residence tax and households with multiple children.

Children between the ages of 3 and 5 who use Kindergarten will be charged Kindergarten lunch fee. The deadline for payment is the 25th of each month (the following day if it falls on a weekend or holiday).

Children who fall under any of the following are exempt from supplementary food expenses.

1. Municipal inhabitant tax income percent less than 77,101 yen Children who use the short-time type in households
