Niseko Town Remote Area Improvement Project

Niseko Town has formulated a comprehensive maintenance plan for remote areas in order to receive special financial measures based on the Act on Special Financial Measures for General Improvement of Public Facilities in Remote Areas.
Projects listed in this plan will be able to make special debts (border countermeasure business bonds), the principal and interest redemption of this special debt will be included in the calculation base value of the local allocation tax and about the redemption of principal and interest of the debt 80% will be issued as a local allocation tax from the country.
For this reason, we will utilize these advantageous debts and promote town planning.
