Seal Registration Certificate

  • When registering for the first time, the applicant must apply in person.
  • If the person is unable to apply directly due to circumstances, a representative may submit the application by presenting a letter of proxy signed by the applicant (please contact us in advance).

  • Personal seal (Inkan)
  • Identification card (driver's license, My Number Card, Residence Card etc.)

Issuance of Seal Registration Certificate

A seal registration card is required to issue a seal registration certificate.

  • The applicant or a representative (no letter of proxy required).

(Available regardless of weekends, national holidays, or other days of the week.)
■ Required Items
・My Number Card
・The 4-digit PIN set for your My Number Card
Note: If entered incorrectly three consecutive times, the PIN will be locked. To unlock it, please visit the Resident Affairs Division counter at the Town Hall.

Seal registration certificate: 300 yen per copy
■ Important Notice
To obtain a Seal Registration Certificate at the Resident Affairs Division counter of the Town Hall, the Seal Registration Card is still required.
