We will proceed "Creating a school with the community" at the town town

From 2017, a school management council (system) was established at Niseko Town Kindergarten and all municipal schools, and a community school was introduced. A "community school" is a school management council that is made up of members (parents, local residents, school officials, etc.) appointed by the board of education based on the Act on the Organization and Operation of Local Educational Administration. refers to school.
 
  • The community school, promoted by Niseko Town, utilizes a wealth of educational resources and local human resources to promote initiatives in which schools, homes, and communities collaborate, learn in Niseko, and nurture children who love Niseko.
  • In the initiative, we consider Kindergarten, elementary school, junior high school, and high school as one school, and promote "Niseko-style education" that is consistent from early childhood to high school graduation.

The Kusu-cho Board of Education is committed to introducing community schools from FY 2012, and heard about the results and challenges of introduction.
Also, at Kusu Miyama High School, hearing was conducted on the situation of introduction to high school which has few cases in the whole country.

Otama Village Board of Education has established the "Ootama Gakuen Community School" which regards 2 kindergartens, 2 elementary schools and 1 junior high school in the village as one school building.
