FY 2007
Activity theme: Let's create a "hometown school lunch" that is uniquely Niseko.
In the 2007 (Heisei 19) elementary and junior high school student town planning committee, we learned about food education with the theme of "local production for local consumption" in Niseko.
Niseko produces an abundance of delicious rice and vegetables. Therefore, we considered how we could create a fun, Niseko-style school lunch menu using as many of these locally sourced ingredients as possible. This led to the creation of the committee's original school lunch menu, "Hometown Lunch."

【Part 2】 held on September 1 ~ Fieldwork, Decision of Menu -
In the second round, we did the work of deciding the menu of the hometown meal service.
We checked out local ingredients at the Roadside Station View Plaza. Using that as a reference, each group came up with fun names and selling points for their dishes. After each group gave a presentation, we created a menu for a delicious-looking "hometown school lunch" that was full of fun ideas.
