2021 Opinion exchange meeting on parallel conventional lines

With the opening of the Hokkaido Shinkansen, we held an opinion exchange meeting over the abolition of the Hakodate Line, a parallel conventional line that will be separated from JR Hokkaido.
Approximately 20 people participated, and many voiced demands for railway maintenance from various perspectives, such as freight transportation and what to do in the event of a disaster, as well as the role of carrying people.
