Family Support Center 

Family Support Center is an initiative where local residents support each other in raising children.
[Those who need help in parenting]and[Supporters who want to help] become members and provide paid volunteer work such as childcare and transportation.

Expected usage scenarios

  • Transportation to and from Yoji Centre and Kodomo-kan
  • Temporary custody when going out or urgently needed
  • Custody at the time of illness or recovery from illness

People who can become members

  • Service Users: Niseko Town residents with children aged from infants to elementary school students
  • Cooperating members (Supporters): Those who are 18 years of age or older, who are physically and mentally healthy, and who have taken the prescribed training (people outside the town can also play an active role)
  * Those who have applied for cooperation membership but have not taken the training will be active as supporters after taking the training.

Operating hours, usage fees, etc.

9:00 am to 5:00 pm (closed during the year-end and New Year holidays)
* If supporters can assist, support activities will be carried out even after hours and on holidays.
・ The usage fee is 400 yen per 30 minutes.
・ 450 yen per 30 minutes after hours
(Overtime: Refers to the period between 7 am and 9 am and 5 pm to 8 pm.)
・ 450 yen per 30 minutes for sick and recovering children
(For sick and recovering children, 500 yen for 30 minutes after hours)

* Diapers, rice and snacks must be prepared in advance. Transportation costs for transportation will be charged separately.

Example) Use by 3 siblings between 9:00 and 17:00 on weekdays → 800 yen
(Basic charge 30 minutes 400 yen + 200 yen x 2 people)
