Self-introduction
Hello Guten Tag!
My name is Fabian and I come from Germany. I am originally from the west of Germany and grew up in a town called Enniger.
When I was in high school, I never imagined that I would one day live in Japan. At that time, I was worried about what kind of job I wanted to do in the future. However, I wanted to experience a culture that was completely different from the West, and that's when I became interested in Japan.
After graduating from high school, I enrolled in the University of Bochum and studied East Asian economics and political science while taking Japanese language classes. In 2022, I came to Japan for the first time as an international student and studied at Fukushima University for one year. Throughout that year, I was deeply moved by Japanese nature and culture, and every day was interesting. It was so much fun that I strongly wanted to live and work in Japan.
I am sensitive to the cold, so I think there will be many challenges ahead, but I will not give up and will continue to take on new challenges while enjoying life in Niseko Town which is blessed with abundant nature, to the fullest. Thank you for your support.

Past Events
Where I'm From:
The town where I grew up is called "Enniger" and has a population of 3,000 people, which is about as small as Niseko Town. It may be an ordinary town for Germany, but it is a very charming place with a mix of new houses and many old historical buildings. There is a large forest nearby, and there is a castle surrounded by a beautiful lake.
After graduating from high school, I moved to Bochum in West Germany. The region of Bochum is called the "Rhein-Ruhr region", which has many large cities such as "Dortmund", "Dusseldorf", and "Kellen", and is the second most populous region in Europe. So, what is West Germany famous for?
A popular food in Germany is sausages, but the most common is curry sausage, not the "white sausage" you might expect. White sausage is popular in southern Germany, but is rarely eaten elsewhere.
On the other hand, currywurst is popular all over the country and is usually eaten with french fries. It is sold not only in restaurants but also at soccer games, zoos, festivals, and many other places. Also, every German has memories of buying currywurst from a food stall as a child after getting tired from swimming in the pool. Currywurst from West Germany is particularly delicious, so if you have a chance to go to Germany, please try it.
