Day Service Centre
The Day Service Centre is a day-care facility aimed at preventing social isolation and helping maintain physical and mental functions by providing functional training and daily living support, so that users can continue to live independently in their own homes as much as possible.
The Day Service Centre can be used by those who are certified as requiring care (support level or higher). Those certified as “support required” in the care-need assessment may also attend the Day Service Center as a preventive measure, so they do not become bedridden or require higher levels of care.
Services include transportation by bus from the user’s front door to the Center, bathing in a large bath that can also accommodate wheelchair users, lunch prepared according to menus created by a nutritionist, and recreational activities enjoyed by all participants, along with optional hobby activities (such as pressed-flower crafts or karaoke).
