In Niseko Town, with the basic philosophy of "Niseko: A City for Co-creating the Future of Children," we are planning to recruit motivated staff members who will be responsible for the town's future, in order to promote information sharing and community participation in town development.
In order to promote attractive town development with other staff, Niseko Town is enthusiastically seeking human resources who can actively work on everything and act flexibly from the perspective of the townspeople.
In Niseko Town, approximately 100 staff members boldly take on innovative initiatives every day, creating a workplace where each individual's strengths can be fully utilized to promote sustainable town development for the future. Newly hired staff members are expected to become fully competent within a few months of being hired. Examination methods, etc.
After submitting your application, the following procedures and examinations will proceed. (See the application guidelines for details.)

Once your application form is submitted, we will review whether all necessary documents are included and then evaluate its content. If you pass the initial review, you will proceed to the second stage of the examination. All applicants will be notified of the results in writing.
【2Next exam】Scheduled for late July
Those who pass the first examination will take the second examination at the examination location indicated in the notification. The second examination will include a "My Story" presentation. Please submit your presentation materials to the General Affairs General Affairs Division by the date and time specified in advance. Gather at the designated venue by the assembly time and complete the registration process. The examination will then proceed as follows. Please note that the order of proceedings may change depending on the venue.

From passing the exam to being hired
The process from passing the exam to being hired is as follows:
(1) Those who pass the final exam will become candidates for employment (those who have been offered a position). The exam result notification (notification of employment decision or rejection) will be sent to:AugustWe are planning to do so.
(2) Final successful candidates will be required to submit a health certificate. If their health condition is unsatisfactory, they will be asked to undergo further examinations, and if no improvement is expected, the job offer may be revoked.
(3) If any fraudulent activity is discovered during the examination process after the final announcement of successful candidates, or if it is discovered that the candidate was ineligible to take the exam or that false information was provided in the application form, the candidate's acceptance (offer of employment) will be revoked. Furthermore, if any fraudulent activity is discovered after employment, the employment will be revoked.
(4) The start date for hiring staff for fiscal year 2027 will be April 1, 2027. For mid-year hires in fiscal year 2026, the start date will be determined on a case-by-case basis with the individual's consent.
(5) If any misconduct occurs between the time of passing the exam and the time of employment that makes the candidate unsuitable for employment, the candidate may not be hired (the offer of employment may be rescinded).
(6) Foreign nationals who are eligible for employment are those who are "Permanent Residents," "Spouses of Japanese Nationals," "Spouses of Permanent Residents," "Residents with Remaining Status," and "Special Permanent Residents."
(7) According to the Niseko Town Service Regulations, if you are hired, you will be required to reside in the town in principle.
*Conditions after hiring
In accordance with Article 22, Paragraph 1 of the Local Public Service Act (Law No. 261 of 1950), there will be a six-month probationary period during which your abilities as a local public servant will be assessed. Please note that based on the evaluation, the probationary period may be extended, or you may be dismissed.
