Special exhibition "Hideyuki Fujikura Exhibition Listening to a quiet wind"
In addition to covering the cover paper of "JR Hokkaido" in JR Hokkaido for more than 20 years, works are also used for product packages such as Rokkatei, and illustrator Fujikura Hideyuki whose style is familiar to many people. From the latter half of the 1980s, Fujikura has expressed the charm and aesthetic sense of the seasons of the landscape of Hokkaido richly and emotionally with pastry painting work using paper. From that work, I feel the "nostalgia" and "warmth" of the people living there in nature and Hokkaido, I am attracted to the viewers.
Fujikura has carefully selected 63 scenes in Hokkaido as a culmination of the past arts for the past few years before 65 years old and has been focusing on the production of works. And, as a result of this effort, we have made fruit as recent art collection "While listening to quiet wind". In the Niseko exhibition, we introduce 39 original paintings of 63 scenes in Hokkaido published in the book collection, sketch drawings depicting Niseko surroundings, landscapes depicting mountains, and follow Fujikura's paintings. From those works, "quiet wind" across the land of Hokkaido will feel comfortable on your skin.
In 2013, it will tour three museums: JR Tower Planis Hall (Sapporo City), Arishima Takeo Memorial Museum (Niseko Town), and Shu Ogawara Memorial Museum (Kutchan Town).
