| Facility | To commemorate the fact that Takeo Arishima, a leading Shirakaba artist, released his tenant farm in Niseko Town free of charge in 1922 as a land joint venture, the first Arishima Takeo Memorial Museum was opened in 1949 and became a town-run facility in 1978. Inside the museum, photographs, letters, documents and other materials are on display to introduce the history of the Arishima Farm's development and opening to the public. |
