Long-term Care Insurance
The long-term care insurance aims to enable elderly people to continue to live independently in their communities even when they require nursing care.
All people aged 40 and older are enrolled in the long-term care insurance system and pay designated insurance premiums. These premiums, along with tax revenue, form the financial basis of the system. Through this system, people who require care can receive various long-term care services by paying only a portion of the total cost.
For more information on long-term care services and insurance premiums, please visit Shiribeshi Region Union, Nursing-Care Insurance Division website.
