Niseko Town Council by-election will be held and a preliminary briefing session for candidates will be held.

令和7年（2025年）8月28日付でニセコ町議会議員の辞職が許可されたことに伴い、議会議員1人に欠員が生じたため、公職選挙法の規定により、令和7年(2025)9月14日(日)執行のニセコ町長選挙に併せて、ニセコ町議会議員補欠選挙を執行することとなりました。

In connection with this by-election for the assembly members, a pre-election information session will be held for those planning to run as follows:

■ Date and time
The event is scheduled to start at 10:00 AM on Thursday, September 4th and last approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes.
■ Location
Niseko Town Hall 1st floor multipurpose hall
■ Target Audience
Candidates and their associates *Due to venue restrictions, we ask that you limit the number of people attending to approximately three per candidate.
There is no need to make a reservation in advance.
■Contents
We will explain the procedures for running for office and important points to note regarding election campaigns, and distribute documents related to filing for candidacy.
We will also explain the use of election postcards and the details of public funding for elections.
