(1)Niseko Town people Center, utilization of community facilities

As a base of townspeople activities Niseko Town people Center, last year, we promoted the convenience improvement of the security measures of the user performs the installation of extended maintenance and street lights of the parking lot. We perform good operation of facility and appropriate maintenance this year. About community facilities of each area, we try for appropriate maintenance so that effective utilization is planned as base of various local activities.

The Central Warehouses will support designated NPOs as a base for a new community in Niseko Town.

While reflecting the intention of the local residents, the Nishitomi district townspeople center strives to make efforts toward commercialization of facility development.

(2) Promotion of city planning, community development activities, support

In order to promote the town-makers' town planning, we will continue to support the Kira Highway Planting Project and the Halloween pumpka activation business.
The role of local community such as self-governing association is increasingly important. We will support the self-governing association activities and formation of the local community by continuing to operate the regional autonomy promotion grant system etc., aiming at a self-sustaining local community that raises partnership with the administration and thinks and acts by the residents themselves.
We will continue to reduce the burden of administrative expenses in cooperation with private enterprises with regard to the community center operated and managed by designated administrator system through village reorganization.

(3) Promoting international exchange

In order to respond to the internationalization of the region and positively promote the dissemination of information to foreign countries, we continued to place four overseas young people who have high language ability in Japanese as international exchange workers (CIR), and further promote internationalization of the region To do.
Also, in cooperation with the Niseko Town International Exchange Promotion Council (known as Niseko Friends), we promote cultural exchange through international exchange food bringing parties, cultural events where you can meet the world, picture books in multiple languages, English conversation classes, etc. We actively support international exchange activities of townspeople.
