HPV vaccine

About HPV (human papillomavirus) infection

Human papillomavirus (HPV) is a common virus that is said to infect more than 50% of women with sexual contact once in their lifetime. It is involved in the development of many diseases such as cervical cancer, anal cancer, vaginal cancer, and condyloma acuminata. In particular, the incidence of cervical cancer among young women has increased in recent years.

The vaccine to prevent HPV infection (HPV vaccine) is routinely inoculated to girls in the 6th grade of elementary school to the 1st grade of high school.

Effect of vaccination

[For girls and parents equivalent to 6th grade to 1st grade of high school]
