Roadside Station Challenge Opening

Niseko Town is looking for challengers to set up shop in one section of the "Large Shop Corner (approximately 18,225 square meters)" in the free space building of the Niseko View Plaza Roadside Station. The challenge will lower the barrier for businesses to open a shop and allow many businesses to take on the challenge. The challenge will be subject to restrictions on the period of use.

If you would like to participate in the event, please be sure to read and agree to the following before applying.
 

Application procedure

Eligibility requirements (must meet all of the following conditions)

(1) A person who is registered as a resident of Niseko Town or a corporation that has a business establishment in the town
(2) A person who complies with the Niseko View Plaza Establishment Ordinance, the Niseko View Plaza Management and Operation Regulations, and the Niseko View Plaza Shop Booth Exhibition Regulations.
(3) Those who can abide by the rules of the View Plaza Shop Booth Exhibition and cooperate with other members to set up a booth.
(4) Those who have no outstanding payments for town taxes and utility bills paid to Niseko Town
(5) A person who is not a member of or affiliated with an organization related to an organized crime group or other group that engages in antisocial violent activities

Application period and application method

Selection Criteria

(1) You meet the requirements of “Eligibility to Apply.”
(2) The items being sold will not compete with those being sold by current exhibitors.
(3) The main products for sale will be manufactured products whose main raw materials are agricultural and livestock products produced in the town, or manufactured products that use processed products produced in the town.
(4) The offer of attractive products, etc. will contribute to attracting customers to the roadside station, which is characteristic of Niseko.
(5) There is no risk of adversely affecting the atmosphere or user environment of the roadside station.
(6) Ability to actively cooperate in cleaning the facility and beautifying the environment.

Facility charge

18,720 yen per monthBased on this, calculations will be made on a daily and hourly basis according to the period of use.
Please pay the usage fee by the start date of use. If the use is canceled for personal reasons, there will be no refund. In addition, the cost of construction of the facility (which requires the town's permission) and the cost of garbage disposal will be borne by the user. In addition, a certain percentage will be charged for the costs of parking lot security (end of April to end of October) and snow removal from the courtyard and courtyard walkway in winter (December to end of March).

*To use water, users must complete the procedure to start using the water and pay the fee.

Equipment etc.

Tables and chairs
*As this space also doubles as a rest area, there are tables and chairs provided, but these can be stored in a separate warehouse when not in use (applicants are required to store these items in their own care and return the space to its original state after use).

Restoration

Other

(1) Consecutive use of the space is not permitted unless there are no other applicants wishing to exhibit at the space.
(2) If permission from the health center or other authorities is required, the exhibitor is responsible for completing the necessary procedures.
(3) Please note that the facility is not suitable for cooking.
(4) Please note that if you do not abide by the rules, your consent to use the facility may be revoked.
(5) We are currently considering the redevelopment of View Plaza. The call for challenge stores is a limited initiative prior to the start of the redevelopment, and we do not currently anticipate opening stores after the redevelopment.
