Basic Policy on Measures Against Sexual Harassment of Job Seekers, etc.

Niseko Town (hereinafter referred to as "the Town") aims to provide fair and comfortable administrative services based on a relationship of trust with its residents, and to create a safe environment not only for those who work as town employees but also for those who wish to work as town employees in the future. On October 1, 2026, the revised Comprehensive Law for the Promotion of Labor Policies and the Equal Employment Opportunity Law came into effect, making it a legal obligation for employers (including the Town) to take measures against sexual harassment against job seekers, etc.

Based on this, the town hereby establishes this basic policy on harassment prevention and will take necessary employment management measures to ensure that sexual conduct by town employees does not occur not only with users of administrative services but also with those who wish to work as town employees in the future (applicants for employment examinations, internship participants, etc.).
