Niseko Town City Planning Council
Urban planning decides the future of the town and at the same time imposes restrictions on the rights concerning land and buildings, so in consideration of the interests of the administrative and citizens and furthermore the interested people such as the land and the building owner It is also necessary to protect the rights and interests of the company.
Therefore, under the Urban Planning Law, a urban planning council consisting of third parties other than the administrative institution is set up to investigate and deliberate that plan before deciding urban planning (Article 77-2 of the Urban Planning Act, Article 87-2, Paragraph 7).
With the revision of the Urban Planning Law in 2000, municipalities can arbitrarily establish city planning councils.
In addition, in the Niseko Town Landscape Ordinance, we will listen to the opinions of the City Planning Council as necessary when proceeding with procedures such as accreditation of landscape agreements and examination of discussions on development projects.
