Town Development Townspeople lecture

What is Machizukuri Machiyaku lecture?
The office staff (manager section manager and chief of the office) becomes a lecturer and informs the townspeople of the current situation and problems of the field which they are in charge and is a place to discuss the issue together with the residents of the townspeople. This initiative began in FY 1996 and is held several times a year.
Anyone can participate freely in this course.
The only rule of participation is "no-tie". Feel free to help yourself.
Town Development Townspeople lecture
Purpose of holding courses (as a place for permanent information sharing and citizen participation)
The townspeaker course aims to encourage the townspeople to deepen their understanding of the current situation and actual condition of the town as much as possible and to share the issues towards the future of the town. Also, it can be said that both the participants and the office staff can learn together.
In the first half of the seminar, officials in the office will explain about the town's problems and the second half will exchange opinions and discuss with the participants. This also plays a role as a training ground for officials in terms of cultivating the ability to explain the work to the townspeople in an easy-to-understand manner, the attitude of dialogue, and the ability to compile opinions.
Also, we will listen to the lecturers who invited from the outside more about topics such as more special topics, and we also discuss with the participants, lecturers and officials together.
