"Heisei's" Birth Issues "Exhibition Niseko Tour Travel" Flyer

A novel "birth trouble" which is one of the representative works of novelist Arishima Takeo. This work is a novel that became a model that Kidaro Kida of young day who was worried whether to continue painting production, happened to find the residence of Arishima which was along Sapporo · Toyohira River, visited.

Kida, despite this encounter with fateful encounters, encourages Arishima's encounter, closely scrutinizes the paintings with deeply confronting the nature of his hometown and Iwanai.

To commemorate the 100th anniversary of this exchange, the "Heisei's 'Birth of Life' Contest" was held in 2010. After that, it was held in 2012 and 2014, and this is the fourth time. This contest includes Arishima Takeo Memorial Museum and Kida Kinjiro Museum, which honor Arishima and Kida respectively, as well as the Hokkaido pioneer village where the house where the two met was relocated, and the last house where Arishima lived in Sapporo. The Sapporo Art Park, which has been relocated and rebuilt, is a cultural facility deeply connected to this novel.
This contest covers the age of 35 and the biggest feature is that in addition to the work, the texts such as the idea of the work produced by young artists and the troubles related to production and announcement are also subject to screening. This makes it a contest to choose "young artists" that I would like to support, along with excellent "works".
