The 29th Takeshi Arishima Youth Public Art Painting Exhibition
Takeshi Arishima was a representative of the Shirakaba school, and formed art loyalty association "Kuroyuri-kai" in Sapporo during the Meiji Period, and as a pioneer of modern painting in Hokkaido, it had a great influence on the backward movement.
The purpose of this project is to provide a place for creative presentation widely to young people who have innate creativity and to inherit the intention of Arima's art promotion.
The winning works will be exhibited in the special exhibition room Arishima Takeo Memorial Museum.

From 19th to 20th October 2017, winning works were decided by the judging committee.
The award ceremony will be held at Arishima Takeo Memorial Museum Art Hall from 13:00 on Saturday, November 4, 2017.
