The 29th Takeshi Arishima Youth Public Art Painting Exhibition
Takeshi Arishima was a representative of the Shirakaba school, and formed art loyalty association "Kuroyuri-kai" in Sapporo during the Meiji Period, and as a pioneer of modern painting in Hokkaido, it had a great influence on the backward movement.
The purpose of this project is to provide a place for creative presentation widely to young people who have innate creativity and to inherit the intention of Arima's art promotion.
The prize-winning works will be exhibited at the Arishima Memorial Hall special exhibition room.

From 19th to 20th October 2017, winning works were decided by the judging committee.
The awards ceremony will be held at Arishima Memorial Art Hall from 13 o'clock on Saturday, November 4, 2017.
