Promoting the success of high school students in the region
NISEKO LOCAL EXPERIENCE – A work experience program where high school students work in the local community and connect with people.
In Niseko Town, efforts are underway to promote the active participation of high school students, with the aim of encouraging their involvement in the local community, career development, and creating connections with local industries.
NISEKO LOCAL EXPERIENCE (commonly known as NISEKO_LE) is a work experience program for high school students during their summer vacation. Its aim is to deepen high school students' understanding of local industries and the region through work experience in the area, and to create opportunities for learning and experience through interaction with businesses and players active in the region.
NISEKO_LE plans to implement a community-based work experience program that emphasizes "learning through working in the community" and "creating connections with the community," rather than simply treating high school students as a source of labor (part-time workers).
