Water Supply · Sewer Construction

Below are the points to be careful about when conducting water and sewer construction in the neighborhood of Niseko Town. The items described on this page are only rough points, so please consult us for details.

(1) Piping location of water pipes and sewer pipes

The location of water pipes and sewage pipes can be checked by viewing the drawings at the Niseko Town Hall.
  • The printing of the water pipeline diagram is charged (300 yen per sheet)

Notes

  • We do not answer the location of pipe burial by telephone. Please be sure to view the drawing yourself before judging.
  • Since the water supply pipe and water supply facility are individual property of the customer, we do not disclose such information (it will be disclosed only to the owner or the person themself and the person who received the delegation)
Note: However, water supply facility information may not be available in Niseko Town (such as facilities maintained before 2000).

(2) Determination of water supply system

In Niseko Town, while there are limitations on the water supply volume and the scale of water facilities, there is also an increasing demand for water from large facilities, including tourist attractions. Therefore, in order to efficiently utilize the limited water resources and water facilities across the entire region, it has become more common to require the installation of water tanks for large facilities and facilities for non-residents.
If you are planning to develop or build new properties in Niseko Town, please consult with Water & Sewage Division in advance to find out what facilities you plan to build, rather than simply determining whether or not water pipes are buried. The requirements for installing a water receiving tank are detailed in the Water Supply Construction Design and Construction Guidelines.
For details, please see the following page:

(3) Initial cost relating to water supply and drainage (connection burden etc.)

Water supply

  • There is basically no cost in Niseko Town
  • There is no connection burden etc.
  • The water meter will be provided by the town (free of charge).
Note: Customers should have a water meter box
  • The cost is such as construction cost of water supply facilities

Sewer system

  • We will pay the beneficiary contribution money.
  • The beneficiary contribution system is a system in which the sewage system improves part of sewer construction fee within the scope of its benefits to beneficiaries who will be able to live a more comfortable life than in areas without sewers It is a system to bear the burden. The burden of contribution (50,000 yen per house) is one time only.
