Notice of extraordinary special benefits for households exempt from residence tax

As the impact of COVID-19 continues to drag on, a temporary special grant program has been implemented since February of this year to provide cash payments of 100,000 yen per household to households exempt from resident tax, etc., so that people facing various difficulties can receive prompt support for their daily lives and livelihoods.

Documents to confirm the intention to receive benefits will be sent to the heads of households expected to be eligible in early February, so please contact us if you have not received them. Please note that if there is anyone in the household who moved in after January 2 2021, the documents will not be sent because the resident tax information is unknown, so if all members of the household are tax-exempt, please contact Planning & Environment Division of the town hall.
In addition, households that have experienced a sudden change in their household finances due to the impact of COVID-19 since January 2021 and are recognized as being in the same situation as households that are exempt from resident tax (households with sudden changes in household finances) may also be eligible for the benefit, so please contact the Town Hall Planning & Environment Division.
 
Please be careful about "fraud" and "fraud of personal information" that are not provided with extraordinary special benefits for households exempt from residence tax. Regarding temporary special benefits for households exempt from resident tax, we will never ask the government office or staff of the government office to operate the ATM or request cash transfer.
