Notice

In Niseko Town, based on the national decision (comprehensive economic measures to completely overcome deflation), we will provide eligible households with a grant of 50,000 yen per child under the age of 18.

Additional benefits for children from low-income households

Target

Head of household who meets the following two requirements
(1) The household is eligible for the "Emergency Support Fund for Emerging Prices of Electricity, Gas, Food, etc. (70,000 yen)" for tax-exempt households or the "Emergency Support Fund for Emerging Prices of Households Taxed Only in Percentage Rate (100,000 yen)." thing
(2) There is a child under the age of 18 (born on or after April 2, 2005) in the household.

Payment amount

50,000 yen per child under 18 years old

Payment procedures, etc.

■Tax-exempt households (those eligible for the “2023 Emergency Support Fund for Emerging Prices of Electricity, Gas, Food, etc. (70,000 yen)”)
A payment notice will be sent to the eligible person. (late March)
If you wish to decline receiving benefits or change your payment account, please contact Niseko Town Hall Health and Welfare Division.

■Households taxed only on a per capita basis (those eligible for the 2023 household price hike emergency support fund (100,000 yen)'')
 
This will be paid at the same time as the price hike emergency support fund (100,000 yen).

Those who need an application

■The following people are required to apply. After submitting your application, the funds will be transferred to your designated account within 3 to 4 weeks.
1.Those who support a child newly born between 2023 2, 2020 and May 31, 2020.
2. Dependent children live in separate households (e.g. children living alone in a dormitory)

[Payment date] Payment will be made approximately 3 to 4 weeks after the town receives and examines the application.
