会場・説明員・進行方法なども町議会と同様に実施。本会議は一般質問のやりとり形式。

説明員である管理職および特別職（町長・副町長・教育長）が原則全員参加し、職員側も子どもに伝わるようにわかりやすく回答を準備したり、質問の実現の可能性を探ったりという努力を重ね、実際に子どもが提案した多くの事業が実現しています。

『 町民センターに水飲み場とゴミ箱がほしい 』という質問に対して、早速町民センター窓口付近にゴミ箱が設置され、子どもの意見反映が行なわれています。
