Environmental Council
About the Environment Council
The Environmental Council is a council that wasestablished based on the Niseko Town Environment Council Ordinance in order to consider a concrete action plan to protect and nurture the rich natural environment of Niseko Town.
It consists of 5 people with an insight into the environment and 5 people who are open to public.
The Environmental Council discusses environmental planning, prevention of global warming, conservation of Niseko's natural environment, etc.

General inspection of the ordinance (draft) that revises a part of the Niseko Town Environment Council Establishment Ordinance
Based on the "Second Niseko Town Environmental Model City Action Plan" formulated in March 2019, the "Ordinance for the Establishment of the Niseko Town Environmental Council" will be revised to organize the deliberation system and other matters when considering the enactment and revision of ordinances and the establishment of new systems aimed at achieving both the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions and the revitalization of economic activities.
