FY2024 Education Administration Implementation Policy

In the midst of social issues such as the declining birthrate and aging population, the need to solve global issues, and the widening regional disparities COVID-19 has been classified as a Category 5 outbreak, and school events such as school festivals and school trips have been held in the usual format, allowing children to be active and lively. In this environment, it is necessary to educate each and every student to recognize their own strengths and potential, to respect all others as valuable beings, to overcome various social changes while working with diverse people, to carve out a rich life, and to become creators of a sustainable society.
Furthermore, as globalization progresses, there is a need for improving lessons through the use of ICT, fundamentally strengthening the development of digital talent through the promotion of digital transformation in high schools, and enhancing interdisciplinary and inquiry-based education.
The new curriculum guidelines will be implemented in elementary schools, junior high schools, and high schools, and specific evaluation and improvement will be required. In addition, we place emphasis on an ``curriculum that is open to society'' and share the significance of learning, ``what is the purpose of learning?'' in order to develop the zest for life, while taking a perspective of ``independent, interactive, and deep learning.'' It is necessary to establish "curriculum management" to improve lessons and improve the quality of educational activities in an organized and planned manner.
In our town, we aim to enhance "Niseko style education" and integrate it with community school activities while making effective use of local educational resources to improve children's English skills throughout the region and expand opportunities for rich learning experiences, thereby promoting an "educational curriculum that is open to society."
In addition, we will actively promote the use of ICT in schools and strive to enhance the learning environment so that we can improve the teaching ability of teachers and promote class improvement.
In particular, we will promote the creation of an environment in which the quality of education inside and outside the school can be improved so that integrated efforts can be realized by going back and forth between "optimal individual learning" and "collaborative learning."
