In Niseko Town, the principles are "realization of education that acquires the power to build and develop a peaceful and democratic society" and "realization of a lifelong learning town that expands learning and encounters and opens up a rich life". With a view to 10 years, we have formulated Niseko Town Education Promotion Basic Plan as a comprehensive plan for Niseko's education. Under Niseko Town Basic Ordinance for Town Development and Niseko Town educational goals, the town's educational policies and measures are developed based on this plan.

Based on Article 17, Paragraph 2 of the Basic Education Act, we have set out a basic plan concerning educational measures for the promotion of education in the town. In November Heisei 20 We have formulated the second term measures (measures for five years from FY2003).

About 10 years from FY2013 (basic direction of 3, 9 goals)

• We will tackle measures of 36 in the previous term (from Heisei 20 -) →
• Work on measures of 25 in the latter term (Heisei 30 ~) → 25

Niseko Town For the implementation of the Basic Plan for Educational Promotion and the resolution of recent educational issues, we have established the executive policy of the Educational Administration regarding priority goals and measures for each fiscal year. (We explain the policy for the next fiscal year at the town council held in March every year.)

Based on the law on the organization and operation of local education administration, it has been formulated as a general outline of comprehensive educational measures in Niseko Town.
