Application method

The town will mail the application form, example descriptions, return envelopes, etc. to the head of household, so please apply using one of the following methods.

1 Mail application

Please fill out your bank information on the application form, and return it in the enclosed envelope along with a copy of both your bank account verification document (bank book or cash card) and your identity verification document.

2. Online application (My Number Card required)

Transfer to a financial institution account in the name of the beneficiary (head of household)
Benefits 1-2 weeks after application is received(Bank transfer).
*If the application is made on behalf of the head of household, an account in the name of representative may also be used.
* Cash payments are available to those who do not have a financial institution account or who live far away from a financial institution. (After turning in your application, you will receive a confirmation notice in the mail. Please bring this to the town hall when inquiring about cash payments.)
Bringing your application to the town hall directly will not accelerate your payment .
 

About procedures for those who are evacuating with DV

Those who have fled due to domestic violence and are unable to transfer Resident Certificate by the reference date (April 2020) for various reasons can apply for and receive the Special Fixed-Amount Payment Grant (provisional name) by submitting an "application form" to the city, town or village where they currently live, including for their accompanying persons, even if they are not the head of the household.

Beware of special fraud that pretends to be a special fixed benefit!

○ Municipal, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications, etc. will not ask you to operate an ATM regarding the Special Fixed-Amount Payment Grant.
○ Municipal and the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications will not require you to transfer any fees for the payment of the Special Fixed-Amount Payment Grant.
At this time, Municipal and the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications will not make inquiries about residents' household composition, dates of birth, bank account numbers, etc. by phone, mail, or email in order to provide the Special Fixed-Amount Payment Grant.
If you receive a suspicious phone call pretending to be receiving the Special Fixed-Amount Payment Grant, please contact your nearest police station or Municipal.
