Currently, construction work is underway to extend the Hokkaido Shinkansen to Sapporo in Niseko Town. Of these, when a survey was conducted on the soil of a part of the Yotei that was generated during the construction of the Yotei tunnel (Hirafu), it was confirmed that heavy metals, etc., that exceeded the soil elution amount standard were eluted.
For this reason, the Japan Railway Construction, Transport and Facility Development Support Organization, which has ordered the construction, will hold a briefing session on the contents of the construction on the following schedule.
