About the new coronavirus contact confirmation app (COCOA)

The Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare is distributing the COVID-19 Contact-Confirming Application (COCOA). This app is an app that allows users to receive notifications about the possibility of contact with a positive person of COVID-19 by using the proximity communication function (Bluetooth) of a smartphone to ensure privacy so that they do not know each other, based on the consent of the user.
