As a result of public inspection and solicitation of opinions regarding the partial revision of the "Niseko Town Private Fund Utilization Condominium Construction Promotion Ordinance" as described below, we will inform you that there was no opinion.
Up until now, Honmachi has provided support such as the construction of apartment houses by utilizing private funds by the method of exempting / reducing property tax according to this regulation. As a result, the construction of private housing complexes was promoted to a certain extent, and we were able to achieve certain results in solving the housing shortage, which is an urgent issue in Honmachi. However, this Ordinance is 2020 but will expire on March 31, 2008, still, such as the shortage due to the housing shortage and it, not population growth pressure is eliminated, on the other hand, housing shortage is a factor, Niseko Town can not be set up residence in, exists not a little case to be moved out to neighboring towns and villages. Since the maintenance and securing of housing is an urgent issue in order to fulfill the desire to live and continue to live in Niseko, we will extend the application period of this regulation by 2 years.
