The 169th town planning lecture of town planning "Holding your opinion on home tax payment" will be held!

The 169th town planning lecture of town planning "Holding your opinion on home tax payment" will be held!
Niseko Town enacted the "Niseko Town Hometown Development Donation Ordinance" in 2004, and was one of the first towns to institutionalize donations as a way to participate in town development, based on Niseko Town Basic Ordinance for Town Development, with the aim of contributing to the creation of a unique hometown through the participation of diverse people. While the current hometown tax system has primarily focused on collecting donations through gifts in return, it also aims to revitalize the community and expand opportunities to secure financial resources to address various issues facing the town, while placing greater value on connections with those who share Niseko Town 's values. Now, as the town approaches its 15th year since its implementation, we are considering amending the ordinance to implement a new donation system that will be meaningful to Niseko Town and truly reflect Niseko Town unique characteristics. We invite you to join us in thinking about how we can create a hometown tax system that reflects Niseko's unique characteristics.
