The Niseko Town Basic Ordinance for Town Development Urban Development Ordinance was enacted ahead of other cities in Japan, with the basic principles of information sharing and resident participation. Information transmission is essential for information sharing. While the government communicates information through various means, such as "More About This Year's Work," "Koho Niseko Newsletter," and "Radio Niseko," these methods alone are not enough. Perhaps now is the time to reconsider the importance and potential of "connections" between people, particularly those that form "communities."
This 16-year-old ordinance, which has passed 16 years since it was enacted, is to be regularly reviewed as a "ordinance to raise" by our townspeople according to the circumstances of the times, and as a fourth year this committee member We are setting up a meeting and working on it.
