We will be holding a "Hokkaido Shinkansen Construction Site Tour for Townspeople"!

Currently, tunnel construction is underway in Niseko Town for the Hokkaido Shinkansen, which is planned to extend to Sapporo. We will be holding a "Townspeople's Site Visit" where you can see the construction site firsthand.
After receiving a tour and explanation of the construction at the town community center, we will actually visit the open section of the construction site. On the day of the tour, we plan to go up onto the elevated bridge and see the construction site up close.
This is an opportunity to deepen your understanding of Shinkansen (bullet train) travel in the future, so please join us.

Niseko Town (those with Juminhyo (Resident Certificate), elementary school students and older, and those who can walk)
*Elementary school students must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

- Site visit to the Hokkaido Shinkansen elevated railway construction site (Miyata section, open area)
*Please note that there are no tours of the tunnel interior.

Since the elevated bridge is at a high altitude, we ask that those who are afraid of heights or have weak legs refrain from participating.
