A site visit to the completed excavation of the Hokkaido Shinkansen Yotei Tunnel (Hirafu) and other sections will be held!

In Niseko Town, where construction of the Hokkaido Shinkansen tunnels is underway, the Japan Railway Construction, Transport and Technology Agency will hold a site visit to commemorate the completion of excavation work on the Yotei Tunnel (Hirafu) and other sections.
This is a rare opportunity to see the inside of the excavated tunnel and the tip of the shield machine up close. Please take this opportunity to visit the Hokkaido Shinkansen construction site. We look forward to your application.
*Please note that tours of the shield machine may be subject to change depending on the progress of the construction work.
