[June 25th] Earthquake Information

An earthquake occurred around 7:30 AM on June 25th.
The earthquake's epicenter was off the coast of Iwate Prefecture (40.2 degrees North latitude, 142.3 degrees East longitude), with a depth of approximately 50 km and an estimated magnitude of 6.9. A seismic intensity of 2 was also observed in Niseko Town. (Sapporo Regional Meteorological Observatory)
気象庁によりますと、この地震で若干の潮位の変化は予想されるものの、津波による被害の心配はないとしています。
北海道電力によりますと、「泊発電所に異常はない」ということです。
