[April 27] Earthquake Information

An earthquake occurred around 5:24 AM on April 27th.
The earthquake's epicenter was in the southern Tokachi region (42.6 degrees North latitude, 143.1 degrees East longitude), with a depth of approximately 80 km and an estimated magnitude of 6.1. A seismic intensity of 2 was also observed in Niseko Town. (Sapporo Regional Meteorological Observatory)
There is no risk of a tsunami from this earthquake.
