Niseko Town Childcare Support Allowance for High Prices
Important Notice
The "Comprehensive Economic Measures to Implement a Strong Economy," approved by the Cabinet on November 21, 2025, decided to provide a "Childcare Support Allowance in Response to High Prices" to households with children (children from birth to high school age) in order to provide strong support and encouragement to the childcare generation, which has been heavily affected by rising prices.
■ Children eligible for the grant
・Children who are eligible for child allowance payments for September 2025 (for children born in September 2025, October 2025)
- Children born between October 1, 2025 and March 31, 2026
■ Amount of payment
20,000 yen per child
*Children aged 0 to 18 years old up to the first March 31st after reaching that age
■About applications
令和7年9月分の児童手当をニセコ町から受給している方は、3月3日に支給しています。
※支給が確認できない場合、下記連絡先までご連絡願います。
町から「物価高対応子育て応援手当」の給付についてのお知らせを送付いています。（2月中旬）
The allowance will be paid to your child's allowance account. Please note that the account cannot be changed.
If you wish to decline receipt, you must notify us.
令和8年3月31日までの間に出生した児童分については、新生児にかかる児童手当支給の手続き後、随時支給いたします。
Those who need to apply
（1）所属長から児童手当を受給している公務員 ※自身の所属庁に手続きについてご確認ください。
Application deadline: Tuesday, March 31, 2020
(2) Parents who have become divorced (including those in the process of divorce mediation) on or after October 1, 2025 and are therefore required to apply for child allowance.
Application deadline: Thursday, April 30, 2020
