Notices regarding forest fire warnings and alerts

Following the large-scale forest fires in Ofunato City and other areas in 2025, the Fire and Disaster Management Agency established forest fire advisories and forest fire warnings, and the operation of forest fire advisories and forest fire warnings has been gradually implemented nationwide since January 1, 2026.
The Yotei Mountain Foothills Fire Department has been operating this system since April 20th, and in Niseko Town, the fire department, Radio Niseko, and Niseko Town Hall will work together during the period below to promote awareness when forest fire warnings and forest fire advisories are issued.
