"Hokkaido Support Ambassador Project Athlete Exchange Meeting 2025" School visit and talk show held

Topic of town

The Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters' support project for local municipalities, "Hokkaido 179 Municipalities Support Ambassadors," began in 2013 and will be renewed as the "Hokkaido Support Ambassador Project" in 2023. The project involves players cooperating with local revitalization efforts, and 20 municipalities in the Shiribeshi region have been selected as the implementation area for 2025.
As part of this project, a school visit and talk show was held on November 20th.
During the school visit, pitchers Takumi Yamamoto and Naoma Kanemura visited Kondo Elementary School. They ate lunch with the students and played catch with them. We would like to thank them for patiently answering the students' questions. The students of Kondo Elementary School performed a Yotei Taiko drumming performance to cheer on the two pitchers.
Approximately 200 fans from within and outside the town gathered for the talk show. Pitcher Kitayama and player Ichibata were in attendance and had a fun conversation. The raffle, where participants could win autographed balls and uniforms, was a huge success, with participants showing excitement and sorrow every time the winning numbers were announced.
In addition, Niseko Town Tourism Ambassador B.B. also participated in both the school visit and the talk show, and we all had a great time. Thank you to pitchers Takumi Yamamoto, Naoma Kanemura, Kitayama, Iwata, and B.B.
This event was also introduced on the B・B blog, so please take a look.
