Announcement of the holding of a public opinion exchange meeting regarding accommodation tax

In light of the introduction of the Hokkaido Accommodation Tax, the town will hold a discussion session with accommodation businesses in the town.
The purpose of the opinion exchange meeting is to share with you concerns and issues regarding the assessment and collection of accommodation taxes in general, including the introduction of the Hokkaido Accommodation Tax, and to help with efforts to reduce the burden and obstacles on businesses as much as possible before the tax is introduced. At that time, we would like to discuss with you the possibility of changing the town's accommodation tax system in the future (we also plan to report the results of the survey you all answered the other day).
In addition, a representative from the Hokkaido Prefectural Government will also be in attendance to explain the purpose and differences in the systems.
We understand that this is a busy time just before the winter season, but we hope you will join us in what we hope will be a lively discussion.

■Time and place　　Wednesday, October 15thThe event will be held three times as follows. Please choose the time and venue that is most convenient for you.If you are unable to attend in person, you can also participate via Zoom (only available for events (1) and (3)).
