[Finished / Video Streaming] Opinion Exchange Meeting on Accommodation Tax (Administrative System)

　当日は3回の開催で会場参加とzoom参加合わせて約40名の宿泊事業者のみなさんにご参加いただきました。
　町では、今後みなさんからのご意見を踏まえ、より良い宿泊税制度への改善策を検討していきます。
　なお、何らかの変更や改善を行う場合は改めてみなさんにお知らせします。

　また、3回の意見交換会の中から、甘露の森さんに会場をお借りして開催した会の模様をYouTubeで配信していますので、当日ご参加いただけなかった事業者のみなさんはお時間のある際にご覧いただければ幸いです。

　昨年の11月1日から宿泊税を導入した本町では、昨年度（令和6年度）はわずか4か月の期間（2024年11月～2025年2月※）でありながら、1億2,800万円を超える税収がありました。
※3月の宿泊は町への申告と納入時期が4月以降になるため、令和7年度分の税収となります。

　ニセコにお泊りになったみなさんにお納めいただき、町内宿泊事業者のみなさんが多くの事務をこなして町に納入いただいたこの貴重な財源、町ではそれらのご負担やご苦労を忘れることなく、丁寧にみなさんのために役立てていこうと考えています。
　そこで、宿泊税導入から1年を迎えるこの時期に、「町民のみなさんの生活と調和しつつ、持続可能な観光振興に役立つ」使い道を議論するため、宿泊事業者のみなさんと意見交換する場を設けます。
　
　事業者のみなさんには、ウインターシーズン入り前のお忙しい時期にもかかわらず、何度も議論の場にご参加いただくことになり申し訳ありません。
　しかし、大変なご苦労をおかけして納入いただいた宿泊税を、みなさんにとって納得や共感を得られる使い道にすること。そしてその使い道を決める過程をみなさんと共有することが、観光をはじめとしたより良いまちづくりにつながると町では考えております。
　つきましては、お忙しい時期とは思いますが、ぜひともみなさんのご参加をお待ちしています。

In light of the introduction of the Hokkaido Accommodation Tax, the town will hold a discussion session with accommodation businesses in the town.
The purpose of the opinion exchange meeting is to share with you concerns and issues regarding the assessment and collection of accommodation taxes in general, including the introduction of the Hokkaido Accommodation Tax, and to help with efforts to reduce the burden and obstacles on businesses as much as possible before the tax is introduced. At that time, we would like to discuss with you the possibility of changing the town's accommodation tax system in the future (we also plan to report the results of the survey you all answered the other day).
In addition, a representative from the Hokkaido Prefectural Government will also be in attendance to explain the purpose and differences in the systems.
We understand that this is a busy time just before the winter season, but we hope you will join us in what we hope will be a lively discussion.
