We went on a tour to watch the Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters games!

The Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters' support project for local municipalities, "Hokkaido 179 Municipalities Support Ambassadors," began in 2013 and will be renewed as the "Hokkaido Support Ambassador Project" in 2023. The project involves players cooperating with local revitalization efforts, and 20 municipalities in the Shiribeshi region have been selected as the implementation area for 2025.
As part of this initiative, the town organized a game viewing tour on July 13th. 40 townspeople were selected by lottery and went to Escon Field Hokkaido to watch the game against the Orix Buffaloes. Before the game, they had their photograph taken with pitchers Masayoshi Tanaka and Tsubasa Namatame. The game ended with the Fighters winning with four runs, including two home runs. The townspeople were excited by the heated match.
The town is considering various plans for this year as part of the Hokkaido Support Ambassador Project. We will announce them on the town's website, so please come along and participate.
